This was a really fun run to watch! Nice seeing the flamethrower get some use as I remember it being next to useless. Unrelated sidetrack of my ADHD-riddled analytic mind: This is my first time seeing the remake. Have to say, that's a really disappointing way for Hammond to go compared to his cool last stand in the original. Also, while I like the quality of life of the flying in zero-g, looked like it made all the fights in zero-g excruciatingly boring of just "float still and shoot", especially during the Leviathan boss fight where the coolest part of that fight was jumping over its sweeping tentacles. I'm sure this isn't the best video to showcase all the brilliant quality of life changes, but the nostalgia blinders are just a little too strong for me here, especially regarding Hammond's death.

do ds1 but you start with the best weapon, and every boss you kill,. the weapon degrades until its a broken straight sword

If Hollow Knight was too easy for you, you didn’t get far enough into the game lmao. I get that feeling, though. If a game isn’t consistently challenging me with either new mechanics/enemies or increased difficulty, it very quickly becomes boring. Partially why I can play PvP games for hours and hours, even if I think they’re boring in theory. The more I play, the better players I’m matched up against, ad infinitum. Challenge runs provide the same thing in singleplayer games

I just started my first ever souls game with this one. I’m On day 5 and I can already say it’s one of the best games I have ever played. You really get lost in this world and time freaking FLIES!!!

44:44 the visual it looks like it uses the infinite sword glitch, which appears a lot in OoT/MM speed runs and causes Link to be constantly attacking directly in front of him without an animation. But there's another thing happening here too, maybe a glitch that resets Bongo's position before his cutscene triggers for the beginning of the boss fight, or his position is being set to where Link is falling, because it looks like multiple attacks are striking an invisible Bongo as Link falls into the arena - you can see a bunch of blood splatter animations coming out of nowhere, right?

yes a year later: but it is possible to knock priscilla out of invisibility. suprisingly managed that and got her tail on my first try

my friend and I started a dagger run with all 3 games. currently at ds2 in DS1 we used Priscilla and later as a back up the dark silver tracer. it was absurd how much damage we did to the bosses. for some unknown reason. i mean we shredded the 4 lords. though we had the grass crest equipped for stamina and block and parry (yes i know) and power within but hardly used that. I would have used the parry dagger but for some reason I suck with that. parry with a medium shield? easy. with the parry dagger... fucked it up almost everytime in DS2.. we rage a lot
